    Power Steering Woes...

So I went to a friends house for a graduation party this afternoon and the car was fine. When I left his house to go to another party all was not well... I started the car and there was a little whining, I turned the wheel to pull out and it got even louder. When I turn the wheel there are stiff and easy parts in the steering and if I hold it turned the noise just stays there. It sounds like a whining or squealing and it's definitely in the front of the engine. When I got home the first thing I did was get on here and search for what I could be wrong. From what I read it's either the pump or the steering rack. When I went outside to do some searching there was a nice puddle of PS fluid in my driveway

I haven't got the car up yet since it's 95* out and the car is hot so I'm waiting till the morning but I'd like to know what to expect. From the looks of it the leak starts up front under the pump and runs down along the belly pan. The reservoir is about half full so I don't think it ran dry unless it wasn't getting fluid. Does the pump leak when it fails or could a fitting be loose? Any knowledge is welcome.

try to keep the resuvoir full, air can still get in from the retun splashing down. cant be much more help, but its probably one of the lines running down from the resuivor.
