Does any one know what this light means

a servicing light just came on. it looks like this (O) but inside the O is a box with a X throw it.

I agree with lowered97A4 that it is your brake light out. If it didnt have the X through it then I would say it would be the indicator for brake pads being wore down.


If you have your owners manual it will tell you for sure what that light means, but if not I would have someone push on the brake pedal and then you look at the lights from the back of the car to see if any are out. May want to check backup lights and turn signals as well.

could be a bad sensor is well. if your brakes aren't making any noise, I would ride it out a bit, as there is a good chance that light will go away. the o with the x in it is a bulb light out indication.

It's light..... brake is only a circle with no X in!
