    ATP GTRS Manifold Stikes AGAIN!

Sweet, I just noticed my manifold is cracked, but I knew that was coming any day. I got a replacement about a year ago but this was pre the "new and improved design," but I doubt the new one will be any better. It is a never ending story with shit going wrong.

Is that for a K03 I was thinking about getting my friend's dad who owns a welding shop to make me a little tubed manifold. I was gonna cut my stock manifold and use the flange that bolts to the head and have him make the mani with that, but I can't find my stock mani

i'll sell you my stocker for like 20 bucks + shipping if you want it... but why wouldn't you use your ATP? the runners on the stock manifold are MUCH smaller...

im not using any part of the runners, just the 1/4 flange or whatever size it is flat piece of steel that mates to the head. I didn't even think about using my ATP, but if I did that then the car would be down, if I use the stocker then I can make it and put it in with no down time, and then if it doesnt work for some reason I could always put the ATP back on. I need to contact ATP or Eurocode to get a new manifold to replace this piece of $%^t.

I would not recommend that. The localized heat generated via welding will just propagate the crack(s) further. Once a cast alloy is cracked it is very difficult to weld it up and any weld that does work is just a band-aid. It'll crack again.
