but seriously, if you sell, what are you going to step into??

i can't think of a car that i would want rather than my TT right now, other than a BMW 135, and the price on that car is too high right now.

my plan is to keep the TT on the road as my daily for another two years until it is paid off, and then get something else. i also want to garage my TT and keep her as a weekender when i get something else. i am not a big fan of the new TT but maybe either one of those or the 135 in 2010.

Honestly I love my TT waaay too much to even think about selling. After all these years I still look forward to driving this car every weekend. Yesterday I went to a car show and I took my friend with me, and people kept driving next to us on the freeway or the street and giving us the thumps up and screaming NICE CAR ! ! My friend was like OMG do you get this all the time, and I said no not all the time only when I drive this car!! =o)

I know exactly what you mean, I get people screaming out compliments about my car everytime I drive it (everyday). It doesn't help that theres nothing wrong with it, there's nothing that needs immediate repair, all the maintainance is done for now, no more money needs to be invested into it, it costs me nothing but gas. Which is also kinda boring since I like working on it.

Just talked to the potential buyer. His loan was approved and he wants to get the ball rolling on the paperwork so we can transfer it over smooth and quick. I'm both excited and sad. I thought for once I would own a car long enough to get it inspected twice. I guess not.

personally, I'm going to try my hand at this rally'n thing. I am buying an operable '89 90 quattro and going up from there. should be fun! with $13k in the bank... you're going to want to wait for the new models to finish rolling out and steal something fresh on trade!

PS - the envoy is pretty sick... but the gas is SOOOO not worth it. you'll secretly hate life.

I just looked at more cars today. 3 out of 4 were v8s and the other was a bmw, thats right I said it, I looked though.

if you're looking at gas guzzlers, why not get a H1? the brand'll be extinct here pretty soon, so it'll have that cache of "bish please, you can't even buy this shit anymore"

got a call last night from the guy who bought the TT. He called to ask if and where the tow hook on the back of the car was. I said I don't know and didnt ask what happened but he said he went off the road and the front was buried. So I think she might sadly be RIP.

Oh yeah I know where the tow hook is and goes, I just didn't really feel like explaining it over the phone to a person who just spun out a very grippy AWD car with not alot of power. I still havn't gone to see what it looks like.

I used to say I would never sell it. Now I do miss it though.

It sucks that you sold your car, what sucks even more is you got a pickup turck, With gas the way it is you secreatly will hate life in a few short weeks once you realize V8's drink gas like its water. Good Luck!

nah its not so bad. gas and maintenance on an audi is the same as gas and maintenance on a nissan v8 haha.

he was going around a corner and there was someone in his lane trying to pass so he swerved off into a ditch where there was a barbed wire fence. The fence ripped the front bumper off, broke both headlights, cracked the grille, messed up both front rims then got pulled under the car and put a nice crease in the exhaust canister. The guy who was in his lane came back and his insurance is paying for it all. I think I might have rather had it totaled.

that is seriously my worst nightmare coming through a canyon. glad the kids ok, but i really feel your pain on this one. selling something that you put your heart and soul into for awhile is like breaking up...
