    Re: OEM seat heaters

    2000 1.8tq heated seat elements:

8D0-963-555-L front seat bottom element around $115-140
8D0-963-557-C front seat back element around $105-135

I understand heated rear seats were available in Canada....specific elements and heater controls may be available for that applicaiton.

    You may find this interesting....

    Re: OEM seat heaters

I have the headed oem seats right now just want something more supportive but i want to keep my butt toasty in the winter. Maybe using aftermarket heaters to stock harness would work if i get voltage and resistance right.

    Re: OEM seat heaters

I replaced my heated pleather seats with heated sport cloth seats. Way more supportive and firm, no more back fatigue, and they just plain look better with huge bolsters my cloth seats heat up much much faster than the pleather ever did, too

The sport clothe seats he speaks of were from an A4 (OEM). So yeah, the seat heater element and controls were OEM.
