    Anyone have a write up or how to on removing OEM wood trim?

    Want to have them custom painted. Some pieces come off easy but unsure about others. Any write ups or how to's? Looking to remove all interior wood trim pieces. Thanks much

    Wondering the same thing!

    To get the center ash tray off you just pull from the top down and out-ish and it comes right off.

    The handbreak cover pulls right off.

    For the shift surroud you jam a putty knife (anything hard and flat) between and pry it up. Maybe the same for the parts around the handbreak?

    The door trim no idea? Hope thoes few bits help...

    Yeah, all the center stuff is easy.. Its the door parts and the dash part above the glove box (where it says Quattro) I want to get some guidance on..

    Do all the parts by th 'E' Brake pop up easy??

    Thanks B-D and yes most of the center e-brake stuff just prys up I believe. One piece that i'm not sure about is the wood behind the armrest... in the back. Idk this post should let us know. I havn't opened it (noob mistake)
