I need a AWM motor from a 5spd, preferably running, but if you have a non running I wanna make sure the block and bare head are still usable. Let me know what you got thanks.

    Hi there,

You can put the ATW into the AWM hole. I just did the opposite - put an AWM into an ATW spot. Only differences were the turbo and the radiator hoses. You will need to have the ATW hoses and the AWM turbo and lines.

Besides that, the only difference in engines is that the AWM is a VVT engine. Take your cam tensioner and swap it into the ATW.

This was a pretty easy swap...

But of course you need to take the tranny into account. You need and auto for an auto or a 5-speed for a 5-speed.
