Measuring Block 060 - Throttle Body Adaptation - ERROR

Okay, got my GIAC chipped ECU yesterday and have been having some idling problems. Got access to VAG-COM today to do a TB Adaptation and when I checked Measuring Block 060, under adaptation it reads: "ERROR"

When I swap back to my stock ECU and do the same, I get: "ADP OK"

Anyone have any ideas as to what's wrong? Is the ECU shot?

definitely odd, is it coded properly, and where did you get the ecm from?

I bought it second hand... Everything is coded correctly in the engine module... Is there any other coding I need to check?

I'm hoping I didn't just spend that much money on a broken ECU.

just make sure you have it coded for a quattro/manaul. you have to look up on ross tech for the right numbers. i know when i bought my ecu secondhand, the guy had it coded for awd/manual, and so i threw it in and a cel popped up. i then found out it somehow got reset to fwd/auto. changed the coding and the cel was gone
