I didn't even put a clamp on those. If you replace those hoses with the same size tubing it will be VERY snug to even get on there. For insurance I just put small zip ties on them and called it a day, you will be fine.

I personally would just replace all the tubing you can just for peace of mind. The tubing is dirt cheap at just about any hardware store. It more than likely wont be braided like the factory stuff but that doesn't matter. I think you will find that once you take that factory stuff off and try to put in on the new DV's it will start separating and cracking and not give you a good feeling about it. At least thats how it was for my A6 when I did the DV's.

So yeah I would replace and then just use mini zip ties and you will be golden :)

The vacuum line that connects the two DV's should be replaced. I used the original tubing and it split open twice. The Forge 007 nossles are much larger than the stock DV's, causing the line to rip. For $1, might as well replace. I don't even have them zip tied and the stay snug just fine.

its 3mm vacuum hose... just bring the nonbraided hose into the store when you get there and they'll bring you the right size. i have 007s and nothing holding them on, no problems. also read the DV/BOV sticky thread

FWIW, those weird clips supposedly require a special tool for them but you can use other tools to compress them should you decide to use those clips.

Zip ties also work which is what I used.

small zip ties, but as long as its snug don't worry about it, just get it on all the way.

You probably want to replace the the vacume line with the woven stuff on it because it will hold moisture and rot the line.
