Converting your B6 center console to a B7 one? You'll need these part numbers...

This is all you'll need. The remaining parts would transfer over to the new console form your OEM console. Part numbers refer to A4's equipped with a black interior.

    Center console : 8E0-863-241-E-6PS

    Hand brake assembly: 8E0-711-303-L

Hand brake trim: 8E0-863-276-C-6PS (this trim covers the area on the console beneath the hand brake)

    Power outlet assembly: 8E0-863-284-C-6PS

Thank God someone finally printed this out, huh!

That thread is no longer useful and has not been for awhile now. I preferred to start a new thread on this with useful info...such as the parts numbers most people are asking for.

Sorry I didn't get this info out here before you did, I've been busy in Germany and trying to figure out which wheels to get refinished and what to do with my seats. I believe you will also need the pice that goes right beneath the ebrake handle. It's sort of like a bridge and there are two small screws that hold it in. Also, I don't believe the center console comes with the rubber mat for the cupholders or the mat that goes in the area just beneath the armrest. And you may need to extend the wiring for the power outlet assembly/cig lighter. I had to, since the harness was about 6 inches too short.

It takes 4 small screws which are not even remotely necessary because of all the tabs it has.

Also, I don't believe the center console comes with the rubber mat for the cupholders or the mat that goes in the area just beneath the armrest.
The part number I supplied comes with rubber mat for the cup holder but not the mat for the small area under the armrest.

Yes, the wires do need to be extended.
