security problem

Hi everyone, new to the site here ive been looking around a bit looks like a nice site. Well I have a problem with my 2000 a6 lately If i lock my car and walk away and come back the lights will be flashing but the horn is not beeping? what could be wrong with it?

Does it make the audible alert when you lock the car - hit the panic button ?

Just started having the same problem. My alarm keeps going off for no reason. It may be because the car is parked in the sun and the motion sensor is on. I need to vag it and see what the fault code is.

There is no sound when the alarm goes off by itself. But I can hit the panic button and it flashes and beeps.

Mine starts off with the horn and light, then it just does the lights.. Glad this happend now, I was looking into some louder horns or air horns
