I got KEYED!! NJ Guys, i need your body shop referrals!!

i was at the gym and when i got out i saw this. it looks roughly about 11-12 inches long, and its pretty deep. i can feel the indentation with my finger tips. i am soo pissed off. i always park far away from people and this is what i get!!! the gym was an LA Fitness, and there were other higher end cars parked in the same area as me, (porsche, mercedes, new m3,) i dont know why mine was targeted. i want to strangle someone AHHHHH

i have comprehensive insurance, this is a no fault claim and is covered under VANDALISM, but deductible is $500. GEICO wants to do it at their designated shop/facility. Any fellow NJ'ers (Central / North) know of any good shops? TIA!!

It would be cheaper to pay to get that fixed with a high deductable. Prob cost you $300 ish i would think ( at least thats about what it would be over here)

yes it's the front fender (driver side), i'm meeting w/ the claims adjuster this week, do you think he/she will over estimate or lowball me?

and also can i somehow add getting my lowers painted to the overall bill and just pay the deductible...

That you would need to take up with the body/paint shop. I had a guy who was really nice and did my lowers for no additional charge because he already had the paint mixed up etc.

you should have never called you ins company for a scratched fender, now it will cost you $500 out of pocket and your ins. will go up. You could have had a local bodyshop do that for probably $350-$500max, but yea if the shop is cool they will probably do the lowers, just throw them a $50
