Can't find many A4 Avants with MT - any advice?

Hey guys/gals!

Looking for some quick advice here. Been shopping around for an Audi A4 Avant MT for the last month or so. I'm completely sold on Ocean Blue, but could also go for Brilliant Red as well. What I've been finding is there's really only 1 Avant MT in each market (Portland, bay area, etc.). I'm looking for any advice on getting my hands on the combo I'm looking for. Dealers are telling me factory orders for '08s are over, but is that really true? Maybe they're just trying to get rid of inventory.....

Anything you guys can suggest would be much appreciated. TL lease ends VERY soon.....

Get a B8

a friend had the same story in Seattle in December, i had the same story in Portland in February, but luckily hassled them enough and they said that some where still in pre-building stages so i jumped on one of those. supposedly there not importing the b8 wagon for at least a year, that is what i have been hearing from people/dealer. Keep searching...good luck.

Yea, from what I know, B8's are not an option. No AWD/MT/Avant for at least a year, if not longer....

well it rains so often in seattle that convertibles don't sell well in this area so dealerships do not carry many of them... it might be better to travel elsewhere to get an avant/convertible

edit: I'm a retard....... avant... not cabriolet... ... i blame the johnny walker on this one.

I could not find one that I liked back in November/December either... ended up having to do a factory order. But at least I got exactly what I wanted... just had to wait 4 months.

I am looking for one as well, my local dealer just got one in and they have 4 more on the way. They also told me it is to late to order one custom. Good luck!

Set aside an afternoon and do a national search. You'll have to pay shipping but at least you'll get what you want. As stated before, Audi is not doing factory orders for 08s any more and finding a MT Avant is like finding a needle in a haystack. Good luck.
