I am in the process of looking for a new car and this will be my first Audi. I have found one that I think is a pretty good deal but would like some opinions.

Seems like a good deal but I would advise avoiding the 3.0 V6 if you wanna mod performance wise.

Hey there,

Thanks for the input. I'm not really interested in modding it much. This will be my daily driver. Sine this could be my first Audi, the price seemed low when compared to other cars.

Avant FTW, but i would look for one that has a sports package, alot less things to worry about if you want to lower it and such because thats included in the package.

Thanks for the input. Now I've done some searching and haven't been able to find anything to look out for with the 3.0s. I know that most here love the turbos for mod sake, but I am interested in a strong stock car. Also, if the car has 5spds then it's tiptronic and if it is 6sp then it's CVT. Is that correct?

actually what kind of tranny are you looking for? i have both of my a4's 5 speed, one is TIP and other is manual. 6 speed is USP(ultra sport package) with some other goodies. CVT as far as i know is kinda like automatic and some ppl have weird problems with them, but its rear i think :) 3.0 got memory seats an some other cool things, little better TIP tranny(more functions). Personally i wouldnt worry about miliage on this cars AT ALL, i put over 20K on my car without ANY problems and its over 100K miles on it now, thus you can find car with miles under 100K for $10000 ish.
