Hey guys, new to the forum, just bought an 05 S4 and have been loving every minute of it. But the other day I was walking by my car after it had been sitting for about and hour and i noticed that it was still blazing hot. I opened the hood and noticed that there was a lot of heat coming from right on top of both headlights. I have a 3yr/36k mi warranty so Im not too worried about it but any ideas what the problem is? oh and here is my baby......

i guess u bought ur car with the Ecode lights and blacked out grills already? nice car

It a fairly big V8 so yeah I think it retains more heat, but an hour isn't that long considering the sun will keep things nice and toasty too. As long as your coolant and oil levels are good and you don't notice excess heat while driving it doesn't sound too fishy.

yeah no excess heat while driving, but this was at night. But the motor was pretty cool, the heat was coming from right above the headlights. Yup, this is how I bought it and I already have my snub mount here and should be ordering springs pretty soon! I can't wait!

There are two more radiators beneath the headlights. That is probably where the heat is coming from.

no springs..get coils for these heavy cars..you will wear out your shocks pretty quick, with just springs. Check out H&R and Vogtlands if you want something good and affordable. From 1100-1300
