Where to get Huper Optik Tint in NJ??

I'm in the market for tint and in the NNJ area. Let me know what you find and I'll see if I can find something as well. Maybe we can get a better price if a few of us go at the same time?

im down for that.. i know a place that does the best quaility 3m film on a b6 for 300.. isnt that a little high?

I can get 3M tint at around the same price and were probably talking about the same place. Top of The line tint uses 3M and that's where I had my B6 done at. This time around I want to use Huper Optik so that's why I'm not going that route.

According to to this guy, he's the only authorized Huper installer in NY.

He told me that the only reason I should spring for the Huper is if I am obsessed with heat reduction as it does a better job than regular film. Unless I lived in FL, AZ, TX, etc. I probably wouldn't spring for it due to the cost (2x).

I heard that with the Huper, you have to use some special window cleaner as Windex, etc. may harm it. Is this true?

i was in the same boat, but went with 3m cs tint. im very pleased. bgewn i think you mean you have to use ammonia based cleaner on it just like with 3m. the cleaner should say "safe for tinted glass". i use rainx cleaner btw

Well I just dropped off the car at my local 3M guy www.topofthelinetint.com. After reading that post a couple post up and talking with a few other people I realized it wasn't really worth the extra money. He's done my last 3 cars and always taken good care of me so it was a no brainer.
