opinion on suspension

hey guys. i know this has been addressed before but i'm looking to get coilovers for my b6 s4 and im having a lot of trouble deciding. i'll probably never track the car but i do enjoy aggressive driving. i'm basically looking for the most comfortable ride but a nice tight suspension. i was thinking of going with the stasis ss with h-sport sways. anyone else have any opinions? i really don't wanna spend over $1500. but then again i can always save up. oh, and i live in PA so the roads here aren't the greatest. thanks in advance.

Firstly, the Stasis SS are for A4's NOT S4's. Secondly, you're gonna get as many different answers as there are choices of coils for your car. Although I haven't yet installed my RS4 h-sports, I had h-sports on my B6 A4 and definitely recommend them. I can't say enough great things about my Startup Racing GT's. I've done a couple of reviews on them recently ...

H&R coilovers will best suit your needs. Contact EuroA4. he lives in PA and just picked up his new coils from AWE.

H&R or vogtlands..ive had both and i prefer the Vogtlands..go to PureMS to buy them..under 1200, i think

Yup, they're approx. $1,100 + shipping. Startup Racing includes shipping so the pricing is very similar (not sure if SR price matches or not). That said, I can't help but wonder why one would choose softer springs when the stiffer GT's are perfectly matched to the shocks, provide a very smooth ride and presumably have a bit petter performance

I just installed some Vogtlands (regular, not GT) and love them. They ride perfect for a daily driver, even at a fairly low height setting.

i thought the h&r's and the vogtlands were a bit stiff though. are you guys saying they're comfortable on the lowest setting. how about the pss9's? i wouldn't mind getting from awe since i'm getting an exhaust from them whenever they get more in. they carry h&r and pss9.

Definitely stiffer feeling on the lighter A4 but Super comfy on the S4! Lowest setting ? Are you asking if they're comfy if you slam your car ? FYI, the Vogts are only height adjustable (no rebound adjustment).

I just installed the Vogtland coilovers on my S4 from Pure Motorsport and I love them very very smooth ride, and as stated before around 1150 not a bad deal!
