Ok I am in the process of changing my whole interior from biscuit to black. The new door cards included all the speakers and I just noticed that the rear doors have speaker while my original system did not have them
well my car had one harness "blue" which was not being used but it goes into the speaker, but then there is also a small harness "black" that comes out of the speaker but the car does not have it.. and the speakers are not working so I am guessing I need to do something about that black harness.. does anyone know what it is for or how I can make them work? by the way it is a 2001 with symphony and I did search but no luck

Didn't upgrade, but maybe Audi manual would shed some light on this?

    Good luck.
