I got 15mm spacers. I'm looking to slam the car. I would like to see how low the the preset height is first.

Are the rear spring perches all the way up on your car? Because I have more room to move the perches up, and i've got a finger gap in the rear.

What is the purpose of the spacers you ordered? I was thinking it was to push the wheels out but I see you guys talking about the "slammed rear" ??

hey so is there anything i should know that would ease my instal... maybe some tips that you wish you would of known before you did your install....also i plan on going pretty low how much should i lower the coils to get a good base hight. thanks ahead

i'm having someone else do it so I'm not going to be of much help. I"m also probably going to stick with the preset setting...but i want to call STaSIS to find out how low it is w/out any height adjusting.

On the product page their is a link "how to install" it provides a PDF for step by step installation instructions and tips. I also am having my installed by a shop for convenience and plan to go with the STaSIS recommendations as ride quality is important to me. Link:

Its great that I bouught the Koni 1150 Coilovers and thats the exactly what I got, stasis seems to just grab them adjust the dampening to their setting and prob ship..

I still want good ride quality. I do a lot of highway driving and I just want a nice looking drop. Not looking for a slam.

I love my Koni's, im a daily driver and do shows...its perfect, just have the dampening just right :) im tuckin all 4 fenders

First, forget the STaSIS directions. Removing the steering end links was enough to deter me from following them. I printed out Captain Obvious's DIY suspension thread and followed that. Much easier.

I hope you have a lot of wrenches. Speed wrenches are very handy as well.

What we did on the rear springs was hook up a compressor to the outside side, and pry the inside out with a gigantic pry bar, as we could not fit a compressor on the inside. I do not advocate this though, as I was always ready to jump in case the spring still ended up shooting out. Overall the springs were not as hard to get out as Captain made it sound like.

A good tip, if a bolt fights you coming out, try compressing the suspension to ride height. The two bolts that I had to do this for were the front sway bolts, and the rear hub-to-upper-control-arm bolts (this bolt is eccentric and controls camber, so BE SURE to take the nut off first, try to avoid twisting the entire bolt. Before removing anything, make a mark on the bolt and the hub, so you can line them up again).

When moving the coolant tank, the tabs on the tank come out of their mounts by leaning the tank up and pulling out. Save yourself some confusion.
