Cold start, Low RPM rattling???

I was letting my car warm up a few mornings ago, and from the outside I noticed a wierd vibration/rattling coming from mid-way under the car. It only lasted about 1-2 seconds and went away, then did it again once or twice. Didn't sound too major but as I was turning around in my driveway, (low RPMs) the rattle reoccured as I was engaging the clutch.

I immediately called my boy's shop to tell him I was coming by to check it out on the lift. By the time i get there 5 minutes later the noise is extinct and I coudn't replicate.

Since then I've realized it only happens when the car has had a chance to cool off a little and will make the noise for the first 20 seconds or so when warming back up. (again, usually when engaging the clutch from stop, or from 1st to 2nd)

Any ideas??? The car drives fine with no other problems or sounds. TIA!!

We cant really help you on this one, you just gotta keep looking. FWIW, one rattle that I located was a loose nut on the exhaust hangar. The other rattle is just embarrassing. After I installed my twin1,I was getting a horrible rattle at around 3000rpm's. It sounded like it was coming from the glove box and I looked everywhere. It turns out it was due to spare change that I frequently keep in the slot next to my Ebrake.

It's definately not loose change in the car. Havn't had a chance to get under it yet, but I'm assuming it's exhaust related.

Just curious if anyone's experienced this same noise. Sure someone has...
