Ok ,my 2004 S-Line, they have K03s (sports) right? and thats all that work on the S-Line correct? thanks guys.

They are K03 turbos. Part numbers 078145703T and 078145704T.

They are not a "sport" turbo. All tiptronic equipped cars from 2003 - 2004 (including allroads) have them.

They are not the same bolt pattern as the K04 so, you cannot upgrade to K04s.

then whats a k03s? and can i use them? , what are the stock k03?

You being confused by grammar, they are not K03s, but K03's (K-0-Threes), the s does not stand for sport.

Exactly.

It's improper grammar to write K03's so, most people write "K03s" to say it in plural form.

yup Frank you and me have the same turbo... S or non Sline don't magtter. i don't know why people keep thinking their S lines have special turbos..
and we both get screwed with no KO4 upgrades!!!

ok ok, sorry, im dumb, lol, anyways, so any k03 off a 2.7T A6 will work on mine, years mean nothing correct? its just, mines about to go i think, and the car isnt running like it use to, so i may be picking some up soon, Also guys, if i have a boost leak, will the car pick that up and give me a CEL, or how can i check this? thanks!

Frank your best bet at this point to help extinguish your fears is to go pay the $100 or so at a shop to get a diagnostic or check for boost leaks, you may be over reacting.

Gigi, the 04' K03's have a much larger flux capacitor and that is what makes up the extra power.
