So im trying to find out and praying that my turbo's arent blown... heres whats going on... the car is not going as fast as it was. i hear the turbo's spool, but the drivers side makes a different noise.. its not loud or anything, but it doesnt like have a whistle. its like the pressure is escaping somewhere... also, when i am in neutral and rev it up, i have that dv sound, but i have stock airbox and dv's.... could a bad dv or boost leak cause the power loss? where and how and what should i check im only 18 idk what to do if my turbo's go out... im praying its the dvs or just some hoses so i can upgrade!!!! HELPP!!!!

btw i only have 84k on the dash

I noticed a pretty big diffrence when I changed dv's. I noticed laggier starts, but at speed no real difrence in speed. Also I noticed some diffrence in turbo noise. If you are chipped or even stock (my dv's went out stock at 65,000, the 710ns were my first mod!) I would look up vastperformance.com and order some 710n's for about $80 and see if that helps! If you plan on modding you will need them anyway so I would recomend them.

I had the exact same thing 2 weeks ago and it was a boost leak........ at boost crossover I would lose power and you could hear the air rushing out.

It was a boost hose that came loose.....

well i threw 6 codes : (
the ones i know are like coolant sensor, and 02 sensors are faulty
then i got one saying my mass air flow sensor is trashed so i ordered a new one.
my next one is confusing, and the guy that scanned my car said it was because of the maf... it said excessive boost over boosting.... what could that be?

I would do a boost leak test. Sounds to me like a massive leak somewhere. Take off the stock DV's. Compress it and hold your finger over the nipple. If it closes, its fucked. Hope its nothing major young homi. A6 isn't kind to the pocket book, I couldn't imagine having it when Im 18.
