pics of black calipers?

as the title states, can anyone post up stock calipers that are painted black? as some of you may remember, i had a thread a few weeks ago askin what color, and i cant decide between red and black now...alot of you say red is rice, but idc i think it will spruce up the look of the stock wheels...its my car and the only person i gotta impress with the way it looks is me so if anyone has pics please post up...thanks andy

i dont know if that would be the same. you could paint your s4 brakes pink and it would look hot. lol

I have used caliper paint previously, but am going to use high temp engine enamel this time around. I'm going with "New Ford Gray" on my Ming Blue Avant. Black is nice, but I'd like to be able to see the caliper a little bit.

are you talking about rattle can high temp engine enamel??
will that be more prone to chip than the paint-on kind of caliper paint?

I used black engine enamel and put 2 coats of clear over it, hasnt chipped at all. The only part that chipped was when the fronts were going back on the car, we didnt have enough time to let it dry to completely. Keep meaning to fix it but I'm too lazy

Sorry all I had was the pics of the rear brakes.. Ill try and get you some of the front Friday once the sun comes out.. It looks sick, I love the Black because it doesn't look like there wanna be red brembo's, or Banana yellow, it gives it that refined look like Audi themselves did it.

Nope. That's what I used a year ago, put on about 5-6 coats with no clear coat. No chipping or discoloration.

Correct. The previous caliper paint I used was a spray on type. Like the other people who posted pics, just mask off all areas that you do not want to paint and go at it.
