Better introduction...this time with pics of my old corrado.

Hey guys, this is my first itme posting in the b5 forums. i sold my 1990 vr swapped corrado to get this 1998 b5 a4 1.8tQM. I have alot of experience in the VW scene, so now its time to change it up a little for a little more class with the Audi.

This car is so new to me. Everyday i read something new about it. Compared to my 90 rado, there are so many more buttons, features, and cool stuff like AWD! Ofcourse im going to miss doing the 1tire fire burnouts, but hey this AWD will be nice in the snow!

backround info.
My name is Tim. I live in bridgeport CT...not to many VW people out here :( honda central. I'll be 18 july 30th and i bought my corrado the day before i turned 16 as a gift to myself. over 15grand went into learning, swapping, and building my corrado which has made me come to the respect of cars that i have today....

i had no idea they were on backwards. i just bought the car like this and have been just driving it. only thing i've done to it was put a hyperboost HX DV on it.

nice corrado. I love the looks of those cars. the a4 looks like its in good hands.

btw, VW needs to remake the corrado(as long as its not as ugly as the new scirocco design)

i like the new scirocco. i think new cars are finally starting to look like "future cars" we thought of years ago. while the baby boomers consider classic cars as from the 60's and 70's, clearly i'll be looking to the old late 80's early 90's german cars as what i consider a classic car worth restoring and keeping around and such.

hopefully i'll get my degree soon and then the money just starts rolling in right? track days every weekend? ;)

i dont know, i dont think it looks anything like old mk1 or mk2 sciroccos. I had a 1.8l 16v mk2 scirocco, and seeing the new one doesnt at all make me think of the look....but yeah that is a good point about what we will consider classics. i guess as long as we get thsoe sweet perks i wont care

i just got tired of driving it. it became a chore to daily drive it because i had put everything poly on it, racing tuned suspension, and it was just a terrible daily driver
