TPM Sensors

Im gonna order some sensors for my new wheels but one shop wants my VIN #? Has anyone heard of that...giving a vin#, seems strange! thanks

You shouldn't have to give your VIN.
Are you getting OEM TPMS?

I order OEM and aftermarket TPMS all the time and there is no need for a VIN

I got Eric(supremepower) to help me out, hes taking care of everything. DPE called me today and I should have my wheels by a week from tomorrow.

Asurugger, you talked to Eric already, how much are the selling the TPMS sensors for? I'm also in need of 4 to install on a new set of wheels, please let me know, thanks.

TireRack will sell them to you as well... Their website says you have to buy wheels but that isn't true if you call them. I got mine from Doc.

When i ordered my wheels my shop asked for my VIN and i gave it to them and they were able to get me my TPMS sensors very cheap, and were OEM, i didnt ask why they needed it i was just happy that they were cheap!

I've done a bunch of searches and those things are expensive everywhere! I think $400 is definitely overrated for a set of freaking sensors! someone is making big bucks and we are paying the price..... Isn't there a way get them from europe, I bet they are cheaper there....
