there's a bit of an arguement with the HID's, the higher the Kelvin rating the less lumens output.
4300K is approximately ambiet lighting. Most people lean towards the 5/6K stuff and are really happy with them.
The lower Kelvin rating produces the Amber color, and is a true fog light bulb. Winter and fog driving is really nice with the 3200K's.
Legally, you're supposed to run a prjector lense with an HID. I'm not, but I don't really care for now.
My Ballasts (aka ignitor) is approx the size of a deck of cards. One is mounted off an ABS stud and the other will be mounted on the frame rail under the air box.
I had to drill a 1" hole through my rear headlight cover(the one you open to access the bulbs) to run the wires through. It came with a grommet, so I haven't had any issues.
Wiring is seriously plug'n'play. No soldering, stripping, hacking, etc. It took 15 mins to install mine, including drilling and mounting.
