    Inexpensive, Easy mods...

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
What do you think the least expensive and easiest mods are while remaining tasteful?

Has anyone tried these/any LED replacement bulbs for fogs or high beams?

I have a silver B6 S4 stock aside from tinted windows.

I thought they had all this stuff for B6's? Maybe not an RS4 grill but some kind of aftermarket grill? Maybe I was thinking of the B5's.

Thanks. The Hoen's are a great tip at a great price. The liscence plate LED's look great too!

Anyone have recommendations on an aftermarket grille (brand/source)?

I'm also going to lightly tint my tail lights with Nite Shades. Considering lightly tinting (not blacking out) my emblems as well. Any thought? I'll post picks when complete.

Under $300. I started the thread because I was interested to see what types of simple, creative mods people may have come up with to tastefully differentiate their cars from the rest even if that mod is something very subtle.

Those didn't work for my '08. I got the bulb out error AND both lights flickered like strobe lights. Seems as though stuff like this is still hit or miss with no reasons why they work for some, but not others.

Actually, I believe it is taking apart your front headrests and removing the piece that prevents them from tilting.

Some work on A4's without DIS. The DIS includes a comfort control module, which monitors the lights and what-not. Just follow the DIY written by Greene08 and you'll have properly working LED license plate bulbs!

And on to the headrest mod........ you can make the headrest tilt??? If so, HOW???

ummm...I think you just manually tilt them or else you press the button on the side and then tilt them while holding the button in.

    Yes.

Do a search for headrest tilt. I've read that Audi disabled the tilting on the newer models, but there is a stopper inside the headrest that people cut out with a razor knife to re-enable the tilt function.
