A little help from guys with Pick-up Trucks

My Father has an 06 F150 and he wants an led light bar for under the tailgate. His bday is coming up so I figured I would get him one. I know in the past from the b6 forum some guys have had problems with their led tails and bulbs burning out. I don't want that same problem. So does anyone on here have pick ups with led light bars? If so, who can recommend a quality one. I'm gonna keep searching the web but figured I'd see if anyone on here has some info. Thanks in advance. Here's one that I've found but there are quite a few different brands. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku

Thanks for the info. You ever have any problems with the burning out? The ones I found on summitracing's site has a stainless steal option to protect the strip but I don't know about the shiny stainless under the tailgate. The truck is that Dark shadow grey (gunmetal) color. Definitely like the blacked out look of your truck. I was looking for an all black f250 crew or supercab turbo diesel before I got the a4. Figured my truck still runs, I don't need another and I wanted the comfort and eventually the performance of the a4.

well i'll keep my opinions of ford to my self, im a chevy guy lol. but i offroaded the hell out of that thing and i had no problems what so ever while the led's were on. they just used silicon to seal up the ends, clear plastic on the front, and black blastic on the back. they just plug into your trailer harness.
another pic (just cause you like it )

last pic before i sold it, i still regret/beat myself up every day for selling it.

Black on black always looks mean. If I decide to keep my truck (89 f150) I'm either going black or gunmetal respray. I already have the black rims.
