    Hello Gang,

CALIFORNIA: July 1st the cell phone law will be in effect here in California. First offence is $25, 2nd offense is $50, 3rd is to be ruled by the judge.

Some of us are tuned mechanically, so we really don't want any law enforcers to be asking us any questions of what we have under the hood. The boys in blue will be extending their arms, and all will have a ball this July 1st.

A mass pull over once the Cell Phone Law will take effect on the month of July. Ear piece are affordable now a days. Beats being late for work, or time due to a ticket.

Drive safe y'all, and be safe on the road. Remember JULY 1st cell phone law will take effect. Other citizens knows of the law, but does not know about the mass pull over. You heard it here Let them pull over other cars, just not an Audi (Underground news, brought to you by the boys in blue)

Will they pull me over w/ my soupcan and string device? I machined my can so I don't have to hold it up to my ear anymore.

Can you get pulled over just for being on the phone? Or do they need another reason?

Re: Don't give them a reason to pull you over.

I love this law. Anyone I usually have a problem w/ on the road ends up being on a cell phone 90% of the time.

Some can manage and most cant manage multi-tasking in the car. Im one of the few that can be on the phone, write notes, open a bottle of water, and stuff a hamburger in my face all at the same time =) I just dont have my phone to my ear =)

also careful with the front plates. I just got pulled over for it and my coworker did as well several days ago. Luckily they couldn't tell my windows were tinted! phew

DMV sent me 1 plate, and to be used on the rear of the car. Front plate issues can not be contested and the percentages that the court dismiss this tickets are high.

I got a similar ticket not once, but a lot of times that is why I want to avoid SF if I have too. I won each ticket in dismissal, due to my car was served with one plate. But it's a hassle going to court and playing the same song.
