    White Smoke?

    My buddy changed. Changed Oil, Free-on, cleaned intake. And now today he has white smoke coming out of his exhaust. But the smoke just stops after like 10 minutes of driving. Anyone know where the white smoke could be coming from. His car is a jetta, but also the 1.8t. Thought maybe head gasket, but the smoke stopped after a bit.

    It could just be condensation in the exhaust burning off..

    If the smoke stopped I wouldn't worry. Tell him to go smell his exhaust smoke. If it smells sweet you have a problem.
