pouring rain on and off tornado watch in effect. was on my way home sitting at a redlight clutch in music going was in a shit mood as is..... then what came next... a lady ( possibly drunk ) without as much as tapping her break plowed into the back of me sent me spiraling in a 360 across the intersection into a pole driver seat snapped in half broke all brackets to the seat smoke POURING from the engine bay blood covering the "head rest" or what was left of it anyways had to pull my unconscious body out of the passenger side blacked out with a major concussion well after blacking out not remembering anything but a girl ( i somehow know but couldnt remember) standing outside my drivers window asking me if i remembered who she or I was.. i blacked out woke up in the ambulance and blacked back out woke in the hospital to find i had a hematoma and a contusion on my spinal column. 7 stitches in the back of my head 3 lacerated veins on the inside theres 6 more stitches.. ill get pictures of the car when i go to the tow yard i just hope this chick had insurance.. FUNNNN NIGHT! ugh

yes i was informed she was arrested on the spot. i dont even remember getting hit to be honest. i have 3 family lawyers due to my step mom being a process server and having very close friends.. and i have a judge as a very close friend of the family

yeah im good man thanks for asking its been a rough shaky night im waiting for the tow yard to open and get a release form and a copy of the police record to go see my car hopefully all my stuffs still in it my dad talked the guy into getting my sidekick and wallet out for me but that was all he would grab without release forms..

well anyways heres an update! just left the tow yard and police station... 32 year odl black woman hit me NO INSURANCE.. wasnt even her car.. and the tow yard wants 150 bucks AND MY TITLE for me to even see my car let alone get my personal belongings out of it.... ughhhhhh

They probably want that $150 because it has been at the lot for a certain amount of time. When i totaled my jeep they wanted money for me to get it but my insurance straightened it out and the other driver had to pay all of those fees

I know exactly how it feels, i lost my first audi to some 31 year old idiot woman driver last month. I'm still waiting on all the insurance bullshit to get worked out, still haven't gotten my money for my totalled avant. But i was able to find another awesome avant that was a major upgrade from the last one.

So just rest assured that when all this is over and done, you will be behind the wheel of a much nicer audi.

yeah i actually talked to the poeple that OWNED the focus that hit me they already contacted state farm.. so the claim rep is going to call me when everything gets set in order and im going to have them get my car out. plus cut my damn check soon.

It took weeks to get my checks. The first was for the basic claim, the second for the additional monies owed after an independent appraisal raised it a couple grand, and the third for my deductible after paperwork was processed that showed it wasn't my fault.

Do you have rental car coverage through your insurance company? Mine covered a basic rental for 10 days but allowed me to upgrade out of pocket. I paid about 3 bucks a day for a car that the family could actually fit in.

Absolutely. My insurance guy was incompetent via email and pathetic over the phone. I went to his office with a list of my concerns and went through them all. Basically, I had to sit there and keep asking what he can for for each one and how things will proceed. After that meeting I had an agenda and a list of what should happen. That was really key to the process otherwise I wouldn't have known that an independent appraisal could be done at their expense. If anything didn't match my list I got ahold of Tad and asked why and what was to be done about it. The end result is that I got an extra couple grand out of babysitting the guy that enjoys my renewal commissions.
