where to find performance upgrades for 3.2 v6

i've been trying to find some parts for my '06 3.2, but it seems most places only offer mods (exhaust, intake, ecu) for 2.0T.

anybody know a company that makes good mods for the v6?

Why pay extra for the 3.2 when $599 gets you the same hp plus turbo

For an exhaust the cheapest would be to get any one made for the B6 3.0 or B6 S4 as they fit our cars. Or you can go new and get one from milltek for like $1200 from KMD tuning. And then there is custom which would be the cheapest option. As far as an intake(which is only good for sound,no HP gain) you can go with carbonio which you have to custom fit or evoms (easy bolt-on)from namotorsports.com ($300). As far as a chip, you can go either unitronic which is +15hp and +15tq for around $350(not really worth it) or you can go with speedtuning.com which offers +25hp and +30tq for $350 which is worth it but it hasn't been proven(no dyno, nobody has bought it).

thanks everyone! looking back i do wish i'd gone 2.0T. i've had one as a rental for the last 3 weeks and it would be pretty easy to match the performance of my 3.2 and get much better mpg.

Re: where to find performance upgrades for 3.2 v6

I prefer the V6, mostly because you don't have to mess with it voiding your warranty to get decent performance and it's quicker with AT than the 2.0. The sound is nice too. As far as mileage, I don't think there's much difference between the two. On the paper, the 2.0 has better mileage by 2 or 3 MPG, but in real life that depends more on your way of driving rather than the size of your engine and I'm sure that conservative V6 drivers get much better fuel economy than the more aggressive 2.0 drivers. That said, I must admit that if I was into engine tuning and wanted a 6 speed, I'd probably go with the 2.0, primarily because it's cheaper.

yeah, 3.2 rocks. i get about 21mpg, which is not bad. for 3 weeks in the 2.0T i have been getting 25mpg... but that is also fwd.
2.0T gets a lot of love from tuners though. But now that i finally can find some 3.2 parts i'm pretty stoked.
