    Avic D3 Problem with kit

So I bought the kit that I found recommended from this forum (http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_s...A_99_9102.html) but theres a problem. I dont have the center piece to fill the gap. My car is scheduled to get all new alpine setup on friday.
For some reason I cant attach photos so that makes this even harder to explain. If you look at a Avid D3 setup, you can see the main kit and then another separate border around the actually avic. Im triyng to firgure out why I didnt get the border piece.

Really? I use to have this on my RSX but I thought I kept all the pieces in the box. I would think that all those border pieces would be different for every car.

So if your right and that comes with the car, what should do? Im taking it a to a really nice stereo shop should they be able to get or have something like that?

I had to trim my Avic border piece to get it to sit flush. My friend did it with a Dremel tool and it looks great.
Papachristou: i just said "yeah well you are still driving a neon, and she still wants to ride in my car"

and buy a new trim, but you would need to cut it to get it to fit well

So if it is that thin border piece, how does it stay on?
