    i have a set of 19in(offset????)front wheel doesnt fit because the caliper.with a 8mmspacer it fit but touch the fender!!!rear wheel fit a1!!!

    will it fit on A4???
    why oem wheel are 45ET and we need 35mm on 19in???

    need info plz

    Offset requirements are determined by depth and brake size, and location of running gear adjacent to the wheel/tire. Thats why. Bearing load design also has some impact of offset.

    35mm on 19" is based on wheel width/depth (8", 9"? Whatchya got), so getting it right has NOTHING to do with diameter.

    Offset is the distance from the centerline of the rim to the backplane of the hub. 42mm is a bit over an i1-5/8", 32mm is 1-1/4" or so. Offset combined with width determines whether or not you have interference with running gear.
