The drive back from Germany was nice, untill I hit Brussels. I swear that city and it's streets were laid out by a blind man that hated everyone. Anyway, I managed to pick up about 5 cases of good beer, two bottles of Crown Royal Extra Rare from the base shopette at Spangdahlem, and oh yeah, two Recaro seats. Now the fun begins.

Headrests, plus a couple other things I picked up this weekend. Oh, and another set of wheels came in. 19x9" ABT Sportsline A27s. Forged three-piece wheels by OZ Racing, and they are pretty damn light.
They need some work.
But hey, for $500 delivered, I can't complain. Paid $750 for the two front seats. But here's the issue. They have two different types of airbags and two different types of back plastic covers. This is what I get for not buying an entire interior for $3k. I have both types of airbags, but they won't look the same when they are retrimmed. Now I have to figure out how to modify them to look the same and still function properly. I suppose I could always buy the upper backrest, foam, and misc. bits from the dealer. That way I could actually make them match without modifying safety equipment, which I will not do. Anyway, for now the black leather one will go in, since having a different driver side seat won't be too wierd. Well, not as wierd as a black leather drivers seat, leather and fabric passenger seat in a different shade of black, and black fabric rear seats. Oh, and the headliner and other bits should be done in about a week. Now I just need to get all the final parts I need, save up the cash, and get the seats retrimmed. Even though I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, sometimes it seems to get really dim. Usually the light gets dimmer when I get more ideas and decide to use nicer parts. Oh well. I guess you gotta pay to play.
