    Oetty wheels and lug bolts

I am looking at getting a set of Oettinger RE wheels for a 2004 S4 and was wondering if the stock lug bolts could be used or do i need to purchase different bolts? I believe the stock are 14x1.5 and 28mm and the specs for Oetty are 14x1.5 but 34mm? Would it be dangerous to use the stocks with the 6mm difference? I asked Discount Tire and they do not see any problem but I would prefer the opinions of others who may have dealt with this first-hand.

    Thanks in advance.

Re: Oetty wheels and lug bolts

Oettinger RE uses a special lug bolt
    14x1.5mm 34mm R12 ball seat.

Stock lugs won't work. They're too short, and they use a larger diameter ball seat. You can risk damaging the wheel seats with the larger seat.

We carry the proper lug bolts here

    And matching wheel locks here.

Re: Oetty wheels and lug bolts

I just recently acquired a set of RE and used the stock lugs, would that explain the vibration i experience at speeds in excess of 70mph? Is there danger in the wheels coming off or cracking with the improper lugs?
