How to get rid of a CEL

So I decided to be a dork and get a CEL sticker for my car, I've had a CEL for 5 months now due to the ATP testpipe with no resolve in sight.

I put the sticker on Saturday morning and went on my way to get my coilovers installed. On the way back I noticed that my CEL light went off and has been off ever since.

    Best $5 I ever spent.

Ha, that's awesome. Kind of reminds me of something i did.

I got a flat tire a few months back by running over a HUGE nail. it was like 8 inches long. Biggest nail i've ever seen. Anyway once i got a new tire on i decided to keep the nail, and i put it in my center console. That way, if any nails try to shove themselves into my tires again, i can just say, 'hey no thanks, i've already got one.'

ROFL thats hilarious. I've had the testpipe CEL for a while too. But i decided to make my own defouler fix. Bought 2 HELP! sparkplug defoulers from Discount auto for 3 bucks. Drilled out both defouler holes to double the size Then i drilled out the defouler the 02 will be going in to accomodate. made the hole a tight fit so carbon couldnt build up in the sides of the 02.

Anyway basically it's just 2 drilled out defoulers. Before my CEL came on a few hours after i cleared the CEL. Now i've been CEL free for 2 weeks and counting i love it.

Btw does your testpipe create a smell too? hehe

Yeah I love the smell, I'm gonna have to figure out a perm fix for the codes as I have to pass NC inspection and they check codes.
