suggest driving home a day after you get your car painted? Mr2 is getting painted as we speak and my dad is iffy about driving it home. I would say no, but maybe tape it up? I'm so excited though. deep black with a lot of clear. mmm.

I wouldnt worry about driving it, and why wouldnt you just ask the person who painted the car?..

Paint takes at least 2 weeks to cure and taping it might not be a good idea either because it might stick.

no, unfortunately my dad went to some ass clown guy from work that swore that he could paint. I'll get around to pics tomorrow. It's horrible. The plastic stuck to the side and it took off some clear so one part of the car looks flat black. The guys like oh, you could buff it out. You can't buff out fuckin bubbles. The guy had overspray like a mother. Part of the tires look permanently armoralled and the fuckin idiot didn't close the hood and the hood popped open and broke the front window. so now the hood is a little dented and the window is cracked. my dad wants to beat the guys ass because he has the nerve to ask for money still.

But if I was your dad, I wouldn't even deal with the guy. He essentially ruined your car. I'd let the courts deal with him. And like what was already said, he needs to pay for a new paint job, hood, and windshield.

when you get to be an adult, even a dad, you'll see the futility in fighting. Unless someone is in your house or really trying to do you bodily harm, it's not worth it.

I'd let the courts handle it. Go to the cops etc. Tell em they threatened your pops. don't even mess around. go straight to the law. no sense in your pops getting jumped over this.
