Hey guys I need a good 12v connection that is good to tap into for when the parking and headlights turn on. I tapped my gauge into my vent wiring and it makes my gauge pulse. I already have my constant on the x75 but I need a good source for my dimmer feature thanks

I usally tap into the ignition wire, but for when you lights turn on why don't you just use the parking light or headlight fuse?

you can just shove the wire in with the fuse on the fused side, kinda ghetto but it works (good for a boost guage) other than that the parking lights you have to tap off the headlight stalk, not a fun one to get to.

haha yeah I had pretty much all of it apart but then stopped because I didnt want to break anything, so I tapped into the vent lighting but that's not supplying a stable enough current. which number is the headlight fuse? and is this safe for the long term

Or you can tap into the cig. lighter backlighting wire.

The fuse is easier though. Check the fuse box panel, that tells you which fuse is for what.
