I have a apr 93 octane program in my car. Was just wondering if it would be safe to run the 100 octane mixed with 94? There is a gas station down the street from my buisness that actually carries it, and i was curious to see how the car would run with it in it.

you can run it.. kinda pointless. The car is tuned for 93 octane.. Just get the race gas file added, a 5 bar fpr, and then run race gas.. Youll see a good diffrence in that.

Most of the ots chips will compensate and add a few degree's of timing, you will pick-up anywhere 6-10hp and a few lbft of tq. If you just blend it you prob wont notice a diff. at all, if you run your tank all the way down to "0" miles and put in a few gallons, after a few minutes of driving around the knock sensors will recognize the higher octane gas. I'll tell you what, 100 octane is GOOD smelling stuff. If you're running no cats it gives off a sweet smell. 100 octane doesn't smell anything like normal gasoline.

    i dynoed 413whp with a 50-50 104/91 mix on the apr 93 software.
you WILL notice a difference. like u said the ecu will advance timing

    Re: 100 octane

i had about a 1/2 gallon of 92 in my tank and then filled up with 100. on the 2nd dyno run thereafter, ECU finished adapting, and I picked up 50hp.

Works best if you drain the tank first, then add the race fuel

yeah guys, on K04's I can see that happening for sure, but at his boost level on GAY03's he isn't going to pick up more than 10hp.....

    Re: 100 octane

I want to clarify something, I have the race file with giac and ko3's, so by adding race gas to a empty tank I should be looking at approx 20hp? or how much?
