A plug for the tuners in Omaha

I recently moved to Omaha, NE from Jacksonville FL. It was time to make a little improvement to my 2008 A4, Adrian at JASUD Racing in Omaha was more than willing to help out. They tune VW's and Audi's as well as do other autos if anyone is interested.

I went in for the free trial of the REVO 91. Night and day difference. He did the upgrade, logged it for me. We went a little conservative with the following settings Turbo 6, Timing 5, Fuel 5. Still very impressive gains. It boosted about 15.5lb-16lb, and did not require any timing adjustment at WOT. When he logged it, it showed 0's across the board. I had asked for something to improve the power, but I was somewhat apprehensive about affecting the drive-ability/reliability. I liked it. My wife took it for a drive and it kind of scared her, she did not know what to expect.

Anyway, I went back today because the 5 hour trial was about to expire, and had it finalized with the following settings Turbo 7, Timing 5, Fuel 5. I wanted it to be just a little more aggressive. Now it boosts about 16-16.6, maybe 17lb, and requires the computer to compensate no more than 3 degrees of timing at wide open throttle. (I think the Vag-Com reading was in degrees) Anyway, it is awesome.

I would highly recommend the guys over at JASUD Racing if you are in the area. They also do APR if you are interested in that. The potential of the 2.0T is quite impressive. Adrian mentioned a get together on the 15th of June where they are one of the sponsors. They will be flashing the trials of both APR and Revo. I am sure that you could contact them for more information if you are interested, their website is Jasud racing development. com or something like that.

Re: A plug for the tuners in Omaha

I was under the impression that if I were to add other modifications such as intake, exhaust, test pipe and the like, that the number for "fuel" would be adjusted higher. The only thing that I have done for my car to this point is the Revo program, stage 1. This is my first experience with any type of ECU programming. The car runs great, and I am pleased with the tune. I will let you know if I have any problems.
