How great are the deals at Waterfest?

Hey guys, I was just wondering how great the deals and stuff were at waterfest from the vendors. I'm looking for a set of Koni coilovers or STaSIS Street Sports. So I was just wondering if its more worth it buying it right now from the groupbuy from prefcafe or just wait for waterfest to purchase them. Any info about this would help. TIA

i bought an exhaust there like 2 yrs ago. not that great really. i think i saved 10%. best saving is if they have the part you want there. then you save shipping

Eh. The deals are usually small. Usually the going rate is 5-10% on hardware and maybe $100-120 off software.

The only catch is that some of the hardware is in low supply and the vendor might not give any discount. Probably because he knows that it will sell quickly at full price.

If you are in the market for a peticular product, query the vendor ahead of time (if they are going to even be at Waterfest) to see what the Waterfest pricing might be.

I think I got my Carbonio for 323. I think they usually go for close to 400. But there was no sales tax and no shipping prices and u walk away w ur parts. Lets say I was working on my car the second I got home from the show.

I used amex at the vendor I bought from. So yes, they do take cards. Maybe not at all vendors but I'm not sure.

I know that GIAC and APR have special pricing at WF. As for Revo, no idea. There are Revo vendors that go and do flashes at WF but, I haven't looked at their pricing.

Yes. AWE-Tuning will have a booth and APR will have one two. You purchase the programing and then they give you a chip pass. This allows you to bring your car into the chipping area and they flash your ECU.

However, if you have an older car that requires any soldering, I don't think they can perform that at Waterfest.

There's quite a few that sell Koni. Stasis will be there. I don't remember them actually selling anything though.

You're correct. Also, they will not be adding programs to your existing chip. I was asking about getting Valet but Mike @ AWE said they will be too busy to do that.

That is correct. The discount is off list (retail) price. What else would it be off of?

In respect to your comment: a discount is a discount, whether it's $5 or $500. Those not in this industry often think that there are huge margins in this stuff, but fact of the matter is that it's just the opposite. Cost is expensive, the dollar is killing all of us, and prices are what they are.

After doing quite a bit of research, it appears we offer the most aggressive pricing on Bilstein suspension, yet as it seems, even the lowest pricing isn't good enough.

And FWIW, if you find a better online posted price on Bilstein that we cannot beat, that item is yours for free. Now let's see some complaints about that!

I agree that $5 dollars off is better than nothing, but you are advertising "killer deals" that can't be passed up. I don't classify this as a killer deal so that's my only complaint.

I'm wondering if there will be any roof and lip spoilers available like caractere or votex. Last year I noticed a lot of parts being sold at certain vendors. But as far as lip spoilers they were knockoff m3 spoilers. Nothing like the votex oem. I didn't see any roof spoilers available but I had a one track mind for trunk lips, dv valves and intakes last year.
