Not on an S4, but on a MK V GTI. They were absolutely terrible. Ride was horrid. Handling was horrid. They would bottom out constantly. Stay away. The contrast between my KW V3's on the S4 and the FK's on the GTI is amazing. Completely different leagues.

    Thanks for the insight.

    Re: FK Coilovers.................

I also had them on a MKIV GTI and the front blew out on me within a year. Last I checked, there was no FK support in the US either, so the "lifetime" warranty does you no good.

    Re: FK Coilovers.................

Please also note that FK has quite a few different options for coilover kits. Everything from the base "budget" model to fully height / dampening adjustable versions. The dampening adjustable versions use Koni shock bodies.

I currently have set of the FK Konigsport (height / dampening adjustable) on my car and have been extremely happy with them. I drove 750 miles on them this past Sunday and the ride is just slightly stiffer than stock when the dampening is adjusted to full soft.

As far as the lifetime warranty goes, if necessary, we can handle any warranty claim on FK products purchased through us.

I had heard of them on numerous VW autos, and I was just curious as to anyone that may have possibly considered or was using them on their Audis.

I was running the top of the line Konigsports. They are the ones that failed.

I currently run the Ohlins Motorsports on my B6 S4 and there is a WORLD of difference.

    Re: FK Coilovers.................

We have sold quite a few of these kits over the past year to VW owners (Mk4, Mk5) and had extremely good feedback. The build quality is perfect and customers with them installed have had great results.

Unfortunately it is impossible to compare a $2500+ set of coilovers (Ohlins) to much of anything else (FK, KW, H&R, Bilstein, etc..). In my opinion, the Ohlins are probably one of the best out there, but they also cost double what most other systems on the market do.

The warranty process with any manfacture can be a difficult one... extremely long and dragged out. I've personally dealt with a warranty on a set of my personal Bilsteins and it took 3+ months to get things resolved. We can help warranty any FK product purchased through us if necessary.

The stainless body versions of the FK's offer some huge advantages and will not corrode like many of the other systems on the market will after a short period of time.
