hey, i am a newbie to Audizine and i am trying to figue out my tuning budget for my s4 that i will be buying sometime in the next year. I would like to put on an Awe twin2 exhaust, Abd Racing cold air intake, GIAC chip, 18'' RS4 reps and some type of lowering springs. Obviously, i know the general cost of these mods, but i dont know how much they cost to install.... Anyone out there that can i give me an idea of what i might be spending. Thanks

You can subtract the CIA from your list. It's pointless. Stock airbox and/or darintake is more then plenty for Stage 3.

Suspension I've been quoted from $150 (good shop discount) to $500 (this one included alignment). that was coilovers.

    Exhaust I'd say $100.

Chip instalaltion is usually free with purchase (~$600)

And I should hope you can put wheels on yourself.

Agree with this. Possibly the cheapest DIY mod that gives better throttle response.

If you want an Intake go for the S-flo from AWE. Nice 10hp gain...

10hp= unnoticable, and not worth 300 bucks.
Darintake= close to free, just as good if not better.

Or save that 300 and make the "Z-flo" yourself. I honestly don't think it'll do any good if you already have the Darintake mod.

Keep in mind that if you don't feel comfortable doing these mods yourself then you won't be doing the maintenance yourself and that can get expensive quick.

I've seen a thread a looong time ago, comparing the s flo to the x1 to the darintake to the stock. Darintake had the highest flows, since it utilizes a near perfect airbox and makes it even better.

i do believe there's a thread about it on audiworld, that i looked at before doing the darintake mod last fall. it did the comparison. google it, it should come up
