Thats your bible, don't let it leave your sight ever again.

Nut on bottom of strut to lower control arm 52 ft-lb + 1/4 turn.

4 bolts that bolt the strut case to car unibody 41 ft-lb.

Nut securing top of strut to that 4 bolt brace 52 ft-lb 1/4 turn.

    Just get it tight.

Good stuff. Those Bilsteins are mint shocks but I really wish I had the adjustable perched ones. I had a loaded trunk today and a 27" TV in the back seat and car was slammed and actually rode better over bumps.

Always good to tackle a job after work during a weekday.

what kind of TV is that...27" tv these days weighs about 10lbs. you must have some bad springs

though i did hear once upon a time that TVs used to have picture tubes....and they were big and heavy. i think its rumor though...i haven't seen them. i refused to believe everything i hear.

The better ride was due to the additional weight not the ride height. Bilsteins are position sensitive so they get more harsh as they get lower.

Its an ancient 3 year old CRT. Wasn't slammed but wheels were in the fender more than usual. I was moving out of a house I lived in for a year which was 2 minutes walk away from the Atlantic.
