Clutch or shifter problem???

Car has about 20k on it. The car shifts into every gear, R,1-6, with no problems. But, I started noticing today, that if I am in 3rd gear and doing about 35-40 and start to slow down to take a turn and try to shift it into 2nd gear, it wont go in. Not unless, I throw it into a different gear and try again, then it'll go. It feels like there is a solid wall and it wont let me in. I then try something different. I stopped, then start in 1st and give it some gas and shift at around 4.5-5k into 2nd and it didnt get in. It's that same feel, as if there is no opening or wall there. This happened a couple of times today. Could it be signs of my clutch going or something with the synchros? I honestly do not beat on the car or launch my car. I do enjoy some spirited driving time to time(why else does Audi sell the S4 and people buy them), but I shift very smoothly and not hard. Oh, also, I do NOT have a SSK.

Any thoughts guys? Ima call the dealer tomorrow.

I had a similar problem, if you press the clutch a couple times and it shifts then it's probably the slave cylinder. You could try that.

I had similar issues shifting into first from a stop, and it turned out to be syncros.

its been happening to me too!! i dont think its the cluth because i had it replaced about less than 3 thousand miles ago.

yes, that has always happenned to me...

dont think its the clutch, shifter nor the slave cylinder. If it were the clutch or the slave it would happen in other gears. And very unlikely that its the shifter.....most probable cause would be the syncros. It shouldnt be a problem getting taken care of warrant-free :)

they're the orig silver ones but I wanna get the red BBS center caps and match my calipers in red aswell.
