Ok, my car is going to hit 100K on the odometer very soon, and I wanted to get some opinions on where I should go from here.
First a little background info, the car is a 2002 B6 A4 Tiptronic 1.8T. I got it over four years ago back when I was still in college. It's been a great car overall since I've had it. Nothing major in terms of problems and it's been running great for the last 40K miles.
I started modding the car a little less than a year ago. I have most of the basic stuff: APR 1+, coilovers, exhaust, intake, rims, USP lower, door blades, lip spoiler, tint, boost gauge, snub mount, s-line steering wheel, etc. I estimate that I've probably spent close to $5K thus far on parts/labor as far as mods go.
So now the question is, what to do from here? I've always wanted the car to be fast, but I haven't convinced myself dropping $5k on a BT setup is a good use of money. I've also considered k04, but I'm afraid that will leave me wanting more.
Then, that brings me to the other part, which is should I even continue doing major mods to this thing? Given how many miles it has and the current used car market, I feel like I'm just flushing money down the toilet. Of course, no one mods their car expecting to make that money back.
So, what would you guys do? If I drive this thing till it has 150k, am I going to even be able to sell it??? Any/all opinions welcome!
