What I hate about the RNS-E

Besides the knob placement that I pretty much have to concentrate on not crashing while i'm trying to input an address... I was wondering if there is a way for the radio to default to MEMORY when you turn the car on. I don't scan through the stations at all... just my memory (there's 30 presets for cryign out loud!) So it sucks if I turn the car on, go to nav, but then if I want to change the station I have to go to radio and hit memory, then go back to nav. Any way I can skip that step?

I found it strange at first, but got used to not having dedicated buttons for radio stations. Doesn't bother me at all, after all it's just one extra button to push

I don't mind not having a separate button for each station... i like the wheel controls, i just don't like that i have to go to radio then hit memory then go back to nav. Since I never use the tuner, and most people have their stations on memory, why should it default to tuner? Just a rant.. still love my car.

Let me clarify guys... I DONT HATE MY RNS-E, but there are aspects that I do. I realize this is a small complait and it doesn't overshadow all the other features, but it's a complaint nonetheless.

I do scan through with my steering wheel... thats my point... to scan through my programmed stations i have to go to the radio, then hit memory. My question is, is there a way so that it default to scan through the MEMORY rather than all the stations BY DEFAULT rather than having to go to radio, then hit memory. Is there something not clear about my post?

people have complained over less.

besides, this is legit... 4 seconds adds up when you use it several times DAILY.

what's more retarded is the fact that you can't REWIND a track with the steering wheel controls; only fast forward
