steering has alot of play

Hey i was wondering what can it be when im driving my wheels would shake a little bit and when im braking it shakes to. Would i have to change my control arms or tie rod let me know thanks.

If your steering shakes while driving could be the tires not being balanced, or wore funny so they are out of balance.

If it shakes a little more when you press on the brakes that is probably because your rotor's are warped. You could get them ground down some to even them out (its called getting your brakes turned) But I recommend just getting new rotor's. Usually if you get your rotors turned it doesnt take long and they start shaking again.

I could have loose suspension too, but usually you will notice slopy steering or when you go over a bump you can feel something loose in the suspension.

Most times if there is shaking while driving its something related to the tires.

At least that is what I have noticed

yea thats what i feel loose suspension when im driving over a bump would that be a tie rod or control arm?

Our cars are known for control arm problems but we cant just assume. You have to go to the wheels and jack one up at a time and shake the wheel with your hands to try and see where its loose or has a bad bushing.

It could be either or and it could both as well.
