    ESP in 01 1.8t?

    well i just descoved that the opetion of adding ESP first started in the 2001 model year. This is odd as i thought that esp started in the 02 B6 model. Im guessing that the only way to know if your 01 has ESP is if there is a button for it? IT also makes sence cause when you start teh car the ESP light, in teh cluster lights up.

    So if there is no esp button then the car doesnt have it, correct?

    My 01 doesn't have it for sure... I haven't seen other 2001's with it but then again, I haven't seen every 2001...

    Ive seen ESP in the S4 I wonder if you can add it

    Yes it is avaiable in our cars as a option in 01 - also if u look on the fuse pannel near the bottom there is 2 fueses for ESP

    the light on the dash is ecp not esp

    I didn't have it. My A6's do though. It is rather intrusive to AWDonuts

    No im pretty sure it didn't come standard on the 01's. I work for Audi and I remember that being an option.

    I did a little drift today, sorta on accident. Turbo kicked in on 1st while I was turning a wet corner and woohoo! hang on kids! Although is seems like my pirelli p-zeros don't have any traction in the wet. Wonder if ESP would done anything to stop my shenanigans...

    why yes, yes i do. mine only came on once. Followed by a complete loss of everything in the car to which i had to pull over, and restart the car . . . scary while on NJ Turnpike

    what is with that whole EPC bs? I have that happen everynow and then too. Only when I switch on cruise control tho.
